Monica Perkins

GSRP Teacher

Mrs. Monica Perkins grew up in Coloma, MI.  She graduated from Western Michigan University in 2009 with a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. She started working at Trinity Lutheran School in 2022 as the Daycare Director. Monica and her husband Josh have 3 boys, Grayson, Emmett and Archie. They enjoy camping, boating and cooking family meals together.

Mr. Mike Shembarger

Daycare Supervisor

Mr. Shembarger was raised in Berrien Springs and graduated from Berrien Springs High School.  He received his Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Andrew's University.  He later earned a Master's Degree in Elementary Administration from Western Michigan University.  He served as the elementary principal at Mars Elementary in Berrien Springs for 22 years which also included a four year period as principal of Sylvester Elementary.  He is married to his wife Sarah and has seven grandchildren.
