Early Childhood Program Director
Mrs. Tory Parrish grew up in Berrien Springs, MI. She graduated from Southwestern Michigan College with a degree in Early Childhood Education. She started at Trinity Lutheran School in 2013 as the Preschool Director/Teacher. She previously worked at Trinity Lutheran in St. Joseph, MI, as the Early Childhood Center Director. Tory and her husband Lance have a daughter, Brooklyn and a son, Lincoln. They enjoy camping, family movie nights and traveling.
Mrs. Parlak is from Port Huron, Michigan and has called Berrien County her home since 2009. She is a graduate of Western Michigan University and is currently pursuing her Master's degree in Early Childhood Education. She is passionate about working with young children and supporting their families in their journey towards school success. Mrs. Parlak and her husband, Oz, have one son, named Aiden. They enjoy traveling together and are always looking for fun places to go with their dog, Mindi.
Mr. Shembarger was raised in Berrien Springs and graduated from Berrien Springs High School. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Andrew's University. He later earned a Master's Degree in Elementary Administration from Western Michigan University. He served as the elementary principal at Mars Elementary in Berrien Springs for 22 years which also included a four year period as principal of Sylvester Elementary. He is married to his wife Sarah and has seven grandchildren.
